As part of her assessment process, Dr. Levine travels extensively across the country to evaluate therapeutic boarding schools, struggling teen programs and other treatment facilities for approximately three months per year. She is also a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and the committee chair for children with special needs. Dr. Levine is an adjunct faculty member at the California School of Professional Psychology, the California Graduate Institute and Ryokan College. She teaches courses on Psychological Assessment, The Rorschach Inkblot Test, Child Abuse and Domestic Violence, Attention-Deficit Disorder and Abnormal Psychopathology. Dr. Levine has been published in the text Understanding, Diagnosing and Treating AD/HD in Children and Adolescents. Her chapter entitled “Social Skills in Children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder,” addresses the special needs of children with AD/HD and social problems. She is a board member for the Conejo Valley C.H.A.D.D. (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit Disorder) chapter. In addition, Dr. Levine was the consulting Psychologist for Westmark School, a school for children with learning differences. |
